Gaze
“Gaze” is a study in translating a picture in mind into pixels while directing every detail of its composition. The collection began with “Gaze I”, the image from which the entire series developed. To create the image I had in mind, I carefully orchestrated every element: the environment, model, pose, outfit, chair, lighting, composition and, ultimately, the gaze. The second exercise was to go beyond a single picture by progressively moving closer, while preserving the model, visual identity and, most importantly, the gaze. The resulting images are not crops, they intentionally allow subtle variations in expression, posture and detail that would naturally occur between multiple exposures in a photoshoot. The final touch was to move in the opposite direction and zoom out, revealing the imaginary photographic studio surrounding the original composition. Hundreds of images were created, iterated and curated to make this collection possible.

Carmina Artis Formae
“Carmina Artis Formae”, loosely translated as “odes to the art of form”, explores abstract sculptures inspired by the female form and the flowing ornamentation of Art Nouveau. Body, hair, garments and decorative elements merge seamlessly, blurring the boundary between figure and ornament. The material draws inspiration from the rich texture of weathered bronze, combining warm golden-orange accents with muted matte green. The images range from portrait and body to movement and free abstraction, while maintaining the same visual language.
